Wedding Aisle Decoration Ideas
Flower petals or confetti scattered on the runner adds a delightful touch. Your flower girl could scatter the petals or confetti or you may scatter them before the ceremony if you’re not having a flower girl in your wedding. Define the aisle for outdoor weddings with flower petals. Sprinkle real or artificial petals thickly only where you will be walking.
Decorating the pew will depends on where you’re going to have your wedding ceremony. If you are going to have your wedding outside and are using folding chairs, you very well can’t have big flower creations on your chairs. It’s just not practical. If your wedding will be using folding chairs, you might want to give your guests colored cushions that match your overall wedding scheme.
However, many of you will probably have your wedding in a traditional style. You will probably have your wedding ceremony at a place of worship (church, temple, mosque, etc…). In that case, depending on how the pews are constructed, you might want to put a flower creation hanging from them.
Another idea is to make a string of flower heads and drape them across the pews. This is not only practical, cheap, but beautiful. You can create these flower strings yourself by just threading the strings with a needle and thread. Also, if you drape the strings from aisle to aisle, it blocks off traffic in undesirable areas, like your wedding runway.
